My family has lived in this District for generations. It is where we’ve raised our families, and had the opportunity to grow a strong, …

CSA Commemorative Eggs

CSA Commemorative Eggs

For three days, I was in Lake Havasu City (Mohave County) presiding over the County Supervisors Association Summit. When my colleagues elected me President of CSA, I told them I would only take the job if they promised not to make chicken and egg jokes. Well, that lasted only about ten minutes into my presidency.

As a parting gift to my colleagues, I gave them each their own commemorative egg, hand decorated with their County symbol as well as their name.

A special thanks to Marsha Rossell, …

The Three Amigos

Eight months before I was appointed to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, I was accepted as the Honorary Commander of the 69th Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base. Last Friday, I was honored to be able to ride in the back seat of “my” F-16 piloted by Lt. Col Frank “Brick” Bricel who happens to also be one of my best friends. We flew behind Colonel Kurt “Huevos” Gallegos who is also an awesome friend with a great call name. After an unbelievable …
