Special Message from Supervisor Hickman

I have been overwhelmed by the encouragement and support to run for Congress, and I’ve given it a lot of thought.

My first and foremost obligation is to my family, my wife, and our children. Our children are still young, and I value being part of their day-to-day lives. Here with them, at this time, is where I need and want to be.

My family has lived in this District for generations. It is where we’ve raised our families, and had the opportunity to grow a strong, vibrant family business. We are proud of the fact that we are a part of the fabric of the West Valley, and have been part of growing Arizona.

I am honored to have the support of the people of District 4 and represent them on the Board of Supervisors; many of them have called to encourage me to run for Congress. That’s a compliment that means a great deal to me. Public service and giving back to the community is part of who I am, and I will remain on the Maricopa Board of Supervisors and continue to serve to the best of my ability.
