A couple of months ago, I was invited to attend a tour of the Lockheed Martin assembly factory in Ft. Worth Texas. This picture was taken during the tour as we watched the plant build F-35’s. The vast majority of the planes that day were designated Luke AFB bound. I am sure that the 5 currently flying in the Arizona skies were on the showroom floor that day. I wanted to point out some people in this picture that have been extremely helpful to me in this job as both Honorary Commander at Luke but also as a County Supervisor.

My close personal friend, Col. Robert “Sparky” Whitehouse, Mr. Mark Ellis (fellow Honorary), Mr. Ron Sites (President, Fighter Country Partnership), and Mr. Bill Gates (Phoenix City Councilman). What a great tour, and what a fantastic set of friends!
